Our Story
The History of The Big House Cup
Established in 2021, the Big House Cup is an annual golf trip and competition between friends. The competition did not have an official name during the inaugural trip in 2021.
However, in 2022 the trip was entitled "The Big House Cup" to honor the legend Jamie "Big House" Newsome.
The 2026 edition will feature a field of 20 participants broken up into two ten-man teams competing in a weekend-long Ryder Cup style tournament across six sessions of match play. Captains for 2026 will be Jeffery Rice vs. Jordan Rice.
